Today is beautiful! How can you not look out the window and KNOW that there is a Mighty and Awesome God? I see the flowers and the trees blooming. Only God could be that creative.

As I get ready to pack, I can't help but think that I will be away from home for the week. I love my home... I love my life. God has been so good to put it all back together and give me such peace about things. I am excited about seeing the gulf again... It is just beautiful! I do pray that we have warm weather! last year it was sorta cold. I will miss my husband! I really don't like being away from him for very long. He is a great guy!

I will blog more later! laundry is calling! :(

Parents are important.

You know, Parents are important. If you look at history, parents have a pretty big role in how their children turn out. Look at Hitler, his Dad had been married twice before he married his mother. His mother was a pheasant girl and Hitler's father was very much a negative, hostile, and extremely strict father who did not exercise grace in Hitlers life. Hitler's mother was the opposite and worked very hard she may have given in too much to Hitler and his wants. This was not a happy family... look at how terrible the outcome was for the world by these two parents not tending to what really mattered in this "boys" life ~~~ What really mattered was this boy's soul... WHAT IF...Hitler had a godly father and mother... What could the outcome have been? We will never know will we, but I think in ALL cases, Parents do matter. In I Samuel, We first hear about Samuel's parents. I think it is important to know who Samuel came from and who his parents were so that we can better understand Samuel. tomorrow we will begin to look at I Samuel 1.
Blessings to all... amy

The week after!

Picture of the Day
At the Beach

On another note:
We had the best time on our anniversary trip. We were able to relax and just enjoy being with one another. What a blessing it is to be with your best friend every day. No, we are not perfect and neither is our marriage... But, I still love him and think that it is great being married to my best friend. God has been so good to me and I am so thankful for all that He has done for me and all that He has given me. I look around me and see all that I have and KNOW that I do not deserve it. But God has been good to me. I am looking forward to our future here. I am thankful that we are not having to deal with an ungodly pastor. I am so thankful for a pastor who loves Jesus and in turn loves our family... that has been a HUGE blessing for us. I so enjoy our pastors sermons... they all point you to the Cross... not toward what you "need" to do, but toward what Christ has done!!!
Christ loved us and died for us...
